As I shared in my previous post my mom started my love for cooking at a young age but she also started my love for nutrition. She was always feeding me good wholesome food and teaching me the importance of healthy eating. As I got older I started learning more myself and doing more and more research. That is how I found my love for nutrition and then went on to become a certified nutrition coach after high school.
Now as a nutrition coach I believe in general in focusing on real, whole foods. Not cutting out any one food group but rather focusing on well balanced meals, quality of food (organic, grass fed, raw etc.), limiting processed foods and focusing on ingredients of the processed foods we do consume. However, I also firmly believe in bio individuality and that there is no one size fits all approach. We are all unique and have different dietary needs. This is just the tip of the ice burg and doesn’t even begin to share all my thoughts on nutrition but if I shared that this post would be entirely too long. If you are interested in seeing more nutrition posts please let me know. The general idea above is what you will see here on this blog, real food recipes that support all dietary needs ranging from just wholesome food to high protein, low carb, dairy free, gluten free and more.
